Registration

Only active participation in a form of student talk or poster presentation is allowed. We want to encourage everyone who doesn’t have results to present yet (especially freshmen) to prepare a general introduction to your project instead. Students from Life Sciences programmes outside CEITEC PhD School are also welcome.

The registration and abstract submission are done at once via an CEITEC website. Upon registration, you will be asked to submit one A5-page abstract of your contribution. The template can be downloaded here:

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Registration fee: 1200 CZK (50 EUR)
After receiving confirmation and acceptance of your abstract you will be asked to pay the conference fee. Do not pay it immediately after the registration without receiving any confirmation that your registration and abstract submission were accepted.

The fee covers accommodation, transport by bus, food and drinks (non-alcoholic, beer, wine). Other alcoholic drinks are not included.

Student talks
The time for a student talk is 10 minutes. Invited talks should not exceed 40 minutes. The equipment for the presentation (a PC, microphones and a laser pointer) will be provided. All speakers will be asked to send us their presentations in a pdf format prior to the start of the conference. 

Poster presentation
The recommended format of the posters is A0, but it is also possible to mount smaller posters on the poster stands.
